[Hartford Courant] GOP candidate for Hartford mayor: ‘Republicans are still here in Hartford’

Hartford Land Bank CEO Arunan Arulampalam has received the endorsement of both the Democratic town committee and Mayor Luke Bronin to be the next mayor. Democrats Coleman, state Sen. John Fonfara, and councilman Nick Lebron have all said they will challenge Arulampalam in the Sept. 12 primary. J Stan McCauley, a perennial candidate, has said he will be skipping the primary and petitioning to be on the ballot for the November election.
